Located in the shadow of Heart Mountain since 1973, the Accent Ranch derived it's name from the many years of raising, training and showing horses with the accent on quality, confirmation, temperament and color. We strive to offer the public horses they are proud to own and are encouraged to return for future purchases. Customers bring mares to our fine stallions and often return with their mares year after year. Repeat Customers have been of great importance to us for over four decades.............
We have raised and shown Appaloosa’s and Quarter Horses since the 1960's. Accent Ranch horses have successfully shown in many western states and Canada.
In 1987 we were introduced to the Norwegian Fjord breed and it has been an ongoing love affair. Because disposition is of major importance to us, we have found that the Appaloosa, Fjord and Quarter Horses live together here in harmony.
The Accent Ranch is located between the Absaroka and Big Horn Mountains, 60 miles from the east entrance to Yellowstone Park in Northwest Wyoming. Our horses are well suited to drive, ride and pack in the rugged terrain surrounding us.

Welcome to the Accent Ranch
Here at the Accent Ranch we use our Quarter horses, Appaloosa horses, POA horses, and Norwegian Fjord horses to help out on the ranch. We use all four breeds to help us brand calves in the Spring.
Spring time at the Accent Ranch also brings us lots of excitement, as our mares bring their new foals into the world. To view photos of some of our past Quarter Horse, Appaloosa and Norwegian Fjord foals please be sure to go to our Photos page.
Our horses make great trail riding horses for all ages. The kids especially get a kick out of riding the Norwegian Fjords. In the summer we like to ride in the 4th of July parade held in down town Cody, Wyoming. It's a sight to see the horses in their flashy bridles and saddles.

We have been giving lessons for over 30 years. Everyone from kids to adults are welcome to come. We supply the horse and the tack. We teach Western and English.
